Why send them off to Puppy Academy?
It is important that puppies become familiar and comfortable with the grooming process and environment. And that means they might even be coming home with some homework! There are many things that can be done at home before their first groom. Using brushes, simulating sounds, and handling areas such as their paws can all help get them used to the process.
Graduation
It might take your puppy a few times to build up to a full groom. It really depends on you and the dog. This process is to help the pup become comfortable with grooming. We will work with you both in order to make it a comfortable and fun experience. Once they graduate, they’ll receive their very own certificate. I’m sure that as a proud fur-parent, you’ll be proud as punch and we’d love for you to send us their graduation pictures!
When can I bring in my pup?
You can bring in your puppy for grooming once they have had all their vaccinations and are able to go on walks outdoors.
